ye khwaab ab ke bikhar jae to acha hoo
bedard ye zakhm bhar jae to acha hoo

thaka diya hai waqt ne mujhe is dorr main
ab dono main koi theher jae to acha hoo

woh musafir ab awaara kehlaane laga hai
bas ab woh laut ke ghar jae to acha hoo

woh saaqi jis ke paas hai takmeel-e-dua
kash idhar se bhi guzar jae to acha hoo

jab tak hai chehre pe satata hi rahega
ye ansoo ab utar jae to acha hoo

bura hai aashiq jo deen pe chale
yaa masjid ya udhar jae to acha hoo

jis ke haath main taaqat wohi bhala
chahe woh jidhar jae to acha hoo
